Stir Crazy Bread

I was making tortellini last night and craved some garlic bread to go with it. Gone are the days when you just dash in the store for a random item (at least for now). So you make do. Every day. However, it is up to you to decide if you will let this situation confine or inspire you. I say let’s get crazy in the kitchen and see what happens…..😜

So I took inventory.📝 Do I have sliced bread? ✅ Butter ✅ Garlic ✅ Awesome! The bases are covered. Should I stop there? ❎❎❎ I pulled out various other ingredients which I proceeded to chop, stir, season and photograph. It was great fun and most importantly of all, delicious!🥳👍😋

Here’s how it goes. Organize your ingredients into one place.

Dice up a few sun-dried tomatoes and 10 or so banana pepper rings.

Shred some cheddar. About 3/4 cup.

Scoop out a few spoonfuls of butter and a couple dots of minced garlic. Add a few shakes of garlic pepper and stir well. Spread mixture onto four pieces of bread. Add a little more butter around the edges if needed.

Scoop out a few spoonfuls of cream cheese. Add diced veggies and stir. Add shredded cheese. Season with more garlic pepper and stir well.

Spread mixture evenly across the bread.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Serve with marinara if you want a dipper (I made mine with crushed tomato and tomato paste). Bon Appetit!✌️💜🍴
