Alfredo from Scratch

Hi everyone! I want to introduce you to this life changing Alfredo sauce. I found it on the net courtesy of Allrecipes. What makes it so special you might ask? 🤔

Let me back up. I could not find pasta sauce in jars when I lived in Argentina which forced me to make certain staples that I took from granted from scratch. And BAM!💥 That has made ALL the difference in my cooking.

I have also personally found Allrecipes to be a reliable source when trying to prepare something for the first time. After trying this simple recipe for Alfredo sauce, I’ve never used the jarred stuff again (which kind of tasted like glue anyway). Am I right?🙋‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I knew I was onto something when I made this for my bro’s family when they were visiting and my SIL noted my enterprising spirit of making Alfredo sauce from scratch. But, why??? And who has time for that?🙄

Because it’s awesome and so much better than the packaged stuff. With only four ingredients and just a few extra minutes you can totally elevate your cooking game. I’m sharing my revelation so you too can master this super simple sauce which will impress your taste buds as well as your dinner buds!🙌👏👏

You can also apply the same concept to garlic bread! Instead of buying the ho hum premade frozen stuff just make your own using the same ingredients for the Alfredo sauce. Mix together softened butter, fresh garlic, and Parmesan in a small cup or bowl and season to taste. Spread along a French loaf, bake at 350 for about ten minutes and presto! Dinner is served! Enjoy! ✌️💜🍴
